Day 3 of the 1969 Suburban ambulance restoration,
the engine is out and stripped down by museum volunteer Gordon Dudley.
I also dropped the motor and transmission off at the rebuilders.
We did have a little issue today when the engine rolled off the pallet and landed completely upside down dumping old rusty water everywhere.
The only damage were a couple small dents in the valve covers.
Today’s good news is that we have decided to do a complete frame off restoration.
